What is WAP?

Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) is a way to link wire portable devices (like cell phones) to the internet.
How do I access the WAP version of this site?

First you must have activated the wireless web on your cell phone (or other device). The address to access OhioGolfGuide.com from your phone is http://wap.ohiogolfguide.com/. You can click here to demo the WAP version. (must have java installed)
What does the WAP version do?

The WAP version of OhioGolfGuide.com allows remote access to the course information. On the first screen you enter part of a courses name, then press next. The second screen shows you all the courses that have the text that you searched on in their name. Now you can select a course to view the basic inforamtion about that course.
The WAP version does not work with my cell phone.

There are so many different cell phones out that is impossible to test all the differents versions of the WAP that each uses. Most upto date phones use WMLscript and should be able to access the WAP version.
What is Avantgo and how do I use it?

Avantgo is a web based download system for palm and pocketpc owners to view web sites on their handhelds. More information can be found at Avantgo.com.
How to add Ohiogolfguide.com as a channel?

1. Sign on to your Avantgo account.
2. Under the My Account menu click the 'Create Account' button.
3. Click the 'Channel Wizard' link.
